Available for iPhone and iPad.
What you need.
- 2 cup Turkish brewer (Cezve/Ibrik)
- Cup
- Kitchen scale
- Kettle
Grind setting for Turkish: turkish.
Set up, step by step.
Do this once before your first brew. When you're ready, the matching brew guide takes over with a live, guided timer.
- Boil the kettle We recommend boiling more water to keep your cup warm while you brew.
- Weigh out the coffee and grind it 1tbsp ~ 12g. Make sure you adjust the grinder first to get the right grind size.
- Place the Cezve maker onto scale Do not turn the scales on yet.
- Turn on the scale, ensuring it reads `0g` Some scales will require to switch to "Grams" mode. Filtru-supported scales will need to be tare'd manually.
- Pour the water into the Cezve maker
- Place it on the stove Start the cooker on a medium-low setting. If you have a gas burner, turn to a low heat.
- You're all set! You can now prepare your Cezve. Press "Done" to start the timer and Filtru will guide your pouring flow. These slides will not show up again.
Ready for the first brew?
Filtru's guided timer tells you what to do and when. Connect a Bluetooth scale and it records weight and flow as you pour, so even your first brew is one you can learn from.
