Get started with French Press.

Set up, step by step.

Do this once before your first brew. When you're ready, the matching brew guide takes over with a live, guided timer.

1. Boil the kettle We recommend boiling more water to keep your cup warm while you brew.
2. Weigh out the coffee and grind it 1tbsp ~ 12g. Make sure you adjust the grinder first to get the right grind size.
3. Place the cup/vessel onto scale Do not turn the scales on yet.
4. Take the filter part out of the vessel
5. Add the coffee into the vessel Gently shake or tap the dripper to level the ground coffee.
6. Turn on the scale, ensuring it reads `0g` Some scales will require to switch to "Grams" mode. Filtru-supported scales will need to be tare'd manually.
7. You’re all set! You can now prepare your French Press equipment. Press "Done" to start the timer and Filtru will guide your pouring flow. These slides will not show up again.
