Get started with OREA Brewer.

Set up, step by step.

Do this once before your first brew. When you're ready, the matching brew guide takes over with a live, guided timer.

1. Boil the kettle Heat 240g of brew water to 94°C. The V4 does not need preheating.
2. Weigh 16g of coffee and grind it Use a medium-coarse grind as your starting point.
3. Place your server on the scale Choose a server that comfortably holds the full brew.
4. Fit the Fast Bottom to the V4 Narrow Check that the bottom is secure, then place the brewer level on your server.
5. Place the flat filter and Negotiator Centre the flat paper, then press it into the brewer with the Negotiator.
6. Wet and shape the filter Pour cool water through the Negotiator, gently rotate it, then lift it out.
7. Discard the rinse water Keep the brewer steady as you empty the server, then return it to the scale.
8. Add the coffee and level the bed Gently shake the brewer until the coffee sits flat.
9. Turn on the scale and tare it to 0g Make sure your scale is set to grams before you begin.
10. You’re all set! Press "Done" to start. Aim to finish between 2:30 and 3:00. If it drains sooner, grind a little finer next time. If it runs later, grind a little coarser.
